Hi, My name is Cortney.

I started blogging back in 2007 when I was a condo-dwelling-single-city-girl whose life revolved around sports, work, fabulous stilettos and chocolate cake. Back then, my blog was all about sports, fashion and life. Looking back, I realize that it was kind of a strange combination. But I digress.

These days, I still love chocolate cake, but life is just a little bit different. I live in the suburbs with my amazing husband Ricky and my wonder dog Lucy. My life revolves more around my growing family (and belly – hellooooo baby!) and my growing business and less around making it to every Wild game. And while I do still love me some fabulous shoes, I lean more towards the comfy wedges and boots and less towards the sky high heels. Hey – I have to be practical about some things around here! My new life is definitely different, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Since my priorities have changed, I figured it was high time for a facelift on the ol’ blog. Hence my new face to the world: The Mommyhood Project. I write about my life and the things I love – because I know you’ll love them too!
